For over 15 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people who are in the midst of grief, trauma, serious illness, and life's most significant transitions. Those experiences continue to shape the way I approach therapy today; with empathy, respect and a deep appreciation for the constant evidence of the resiliency people possess. I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling deeply seen and understood, and being met with compassion instead of judgement, curiosity instead of criticism, and honesty rather than shame.
My role is not to “fix” you. I believe that no matter how broken we might sometimes feel, there is an innate wholeness within us that remains untouched. While I cannot take away your pain or rewrite your past, I can sit with you in it and bear witness to your story.
